Goodbyes

So this week has been a hard one. I have had finals that were quite challenging and i've said good bye to many friends. Thursday I had to say goodbye to Rachel. I took her to the airport at 4:30 am so I could say goodbye. She then flew to Ohio. I've talked to her a lot but it's not the same and I miss her like crazy. She leaves for a study abroad in France tomorrow. :( I am not sure what i am going to do without her!Rachel... I miss you already.

Last night I said goodbye to one of my best friends, Gerry. We haven't known each other for very long but we became close very quickly. I could talk to him about anything and he was always there for me. We spent all of our spare time together and watched A LOT of movies. who am i supposed to watch movies with now?So... basically this post is saying if you want to be my friend let me know because i am running short on them right now...

Hare Krishna

Ok, so there is this festival in Spanish Fork that is called Hare Krishna. it was a couple weeks ago. basically it's a ton of fun and it's a festival of colors. "like crayola, not diversity" to quote a friend. it's how they welcome in spring and it is at a Hindu temple. so cool. I've been wanting to put up pictures but i've been a little lazy, so finally, here you go.
Me and Gerry BEFORE the color throwing.

Me and Gerry AFTER the color throwing

Here is Megan, Joanna, and Rachel. apparently we had a lot of purple and pink to throw.

Here is a glimpse of all the people. it was so crowded and awesome. There was music and they were doing a little chant thing. and there were crowd surfers.

Overall this experience was a blast. I had so much fun that day. I am totally doing it again next year.

Lu'au

So i haven't written here in a little while and a lot has happened! I will start with the Lu'au that Rachel Megan and I were in. We danced for the BYU lu'au the last week in March. it was amazing! Here are some pictures. the green outfits are from the Samoa section while the brown are from tahiti.
This is Rachel's cousin Allison, Me, Rachel, and Megan. We are hawt.

And of course in these scandalous outfits we had to make faces.

Some of my girls from Samoa section!

Our group :) I miss them already :(

This is my favorite picture from that night. i love the quote from Rachel "I seriously love this picture. It's the epitome of us. You trying to be gangster and me yelling about something irrelevant." and it's so true.

Well there was that and i think i will wait to post more pictures later. i have some from Hare Krishna and from when my friend Clint came to visit me. also... i should probably just write something on here. because this isn't a scrapbook. it's a blog... for to be writing on.
