BBW, baby, and Zoolights

Ok so here's the thing...
I work at Bath and Body Works and today people were pretty upset with us for not having many giftsets left. I find this hard to believe since Offsite 2 (a pretty big room) was filled from floor to ceiling with giftsets at Thanksgiving. like seriously... you couldn't even walk in the room. anyway, back to the story, i had some people get pretty snappy with me because we didn't have a giftset for them... i wanted to be like "It's 2 days before Christmas... you really expect us to have everything in stock? this is your fault you procrastinator..." but instead i would polietely state "I'm really sorry about that but we are out of stock. we can wrap your items in cello and put a ribbon on it." I mean seriously people way to test my patience. oh well. it happens i guess.
oh and on a completely different note...
my sister and her husband ben are going to have a baby! it became public this week and i am so excited to become an aunt. that kid is going to be so spoiled! my poor sister is so sick though... she can't do much of anything which makes me sad for her but this baby will be so worth it!
Last night i went to Zoolights with my good friend John Thomas and it was SO cold.

Home...

Finals are over!!! sweet! I just took my last one. i didn't do too bad this year either. I like my classes (except physics). I am so ready to go home to the good old y-city.

ZANESVILLE.

Sometimes i'm amazed at how much i can miss my home. I miss all sorts of things from that little town. Although i don't think i could live there the rest of my life, it will always be home and i will always want to go back. It's a small town with not much to do but it was calm and a happy place. It's where i grew up. I learned how to ride my bike on Johnathan Ln. I went camping at Dillon State Park with my grandparents all the time. My family currently resides across the street from this park. I went to school at Richey Elementary and loved it. I ran around the town and spent my time like all teenagers at good old Colony Square Mall and SteaknShake. There was nothing better than those summer nights running around with my friends and laughing like crazy.
Don't get me wrong, I love provo and college but for times like Christmas I can't wait to go home and see the house all decorated. That's what makes me feel like Christmas. My family and the staircase all dedcorated. My mom's nativity on top of the piano that i hope to one day have one just like it. Decorating cookies and baking up a storm. I am so excited to be going home tonight.
Sigh, I can't wait to come into Columbus to land and see nothing but flat for as far as the eye can see. Then drive the hour to Zanesville where you get into rolling hills and trees gallore. something Utah can't offer. My heart will always be in the good OHIO.

OMG i need these shoes...
Etsy.com is my new favorite site. It is a site for people to sell their handmade items. This pair of shoes is from Crafttastrophe on Etsy.com. Her shoes are absolutely amazing. and decently priced. These hand painted shoes are only 35 dollars plus shipping.
Other favorites include Star Creations. She makes home made jewelry. They are all influenced by nature. How cute is this?
I also have been looking for Christmas presents on here... There are so many creative, cheap and cute things on here. I actually discovered etsy.com from Katrina.
I really have had to exercise self control and not buy these shoes or this jewelry. I would be so poor if i did not refrain from buying these things... hopefully, those shoes will soon become mine. She also does custom orders.
Handmade items and antique items are so much better than something new and 1 out of a million. i will always choose antique and hand made before i but something new.

Ok so here is something annoying...
I listened to the song "Stand out" by Tevin Campbell from A Goofy Movie today at work like 4 times. it was so good. i wanted to come home and download it. i can't legally download it without getting the entire A Goofy Movie soundtrack. I DO NOT WANT TO PAY NINE DOLLARS FOR ONE SONG. This is the reason that people illegal download songs. because of stupid things like that.

So Thanksgiving break ends for me today. it is very sad. I'm headed back to provo this afternoon. on the upside i do get to see Rachel tonight! i'm very excited about that.
Here is one thing i hate about traveling- i HATE packing. with a passion. i will put it off until the last second... i really and truly hate packing. i have waited until like an hour before we have to leave for vacation... i hate it. today i started this morning and i stopped in the middle too disgusted with it to continue. i don't know why i have such an aversion to packing but it really is miserable.

Also, Christmas is almost here. i have no idea what i'm going to do about gifts. I think i know what i'm getting my mom but it depends on prices. i have no idea what to get everyone else... i always get Alex the same thing- an itunes giftcard. i feel like i should try something different. and melissa is not hard to buy for but i don't have any ideas this year. My dad is THE HARDEST MAN to buy for... EVER. He has everything he wants. Anyone have some sugestions? oh and for Ben too... my sisters husband. i usually get him something funny and kid like. but i really don't know what to get people. i'm so bad at things like this.

So i know i keep jumping from topic to topic but here's another one. I need to start taking more pictures again. i don't have like any pictures since this last spring. i have a scrapbook thing my mom got me for my birthday in june. it is all premade which makes it easy but i don't have any pictures to put in it and i really want to use it. it kind of looks like this. but blue and green and just about friends. but you get the idea. you just slap your puctures in.

have you ever had the strange happening when you are just chilling and you smell something delicious and wonder what it is... all of the sudden you realize it's you?! i just had this happen. i smell amazing. lol. it's breathe delight from bath and body works and i love it! just thought i would let you know.
ok so here's another declaration. boys are ridiculous. i really don't understand where they come up with some of their ideas. sheesh. i'm going on a boy strike. i really should just lay low for a little while before i totally become anti boy.
rachel and i took a random trip to salt lake tonight after FHE for some delicious Chipotle. it's worth every mile. and i would go again tomorrow but i'm poor.

So it's halloween and i have nothing planned for tonight. Rachel wants to go to the Hollywood House Party but i'm not sure if i do. it's going to be crazy crowded and completely insane. for those of you who don't know, the hollywood house party is legend. Malaysian Cherry

so, last night my roommate emily helped me dye my hair red... malaysian cherry to be exact. it's so cute. i'll put up pics soon.
oh and i took another physics test and failed it. apparently physics and i don't click.
and for some reason utah got REALLY cold over this last week. we had our first snow and it's like 35 degrees! but something funny-- our pool is still open. want to know why? for some unexplained reason it's warmer than our hot tub!
now i guess i have to go to work this morning although i do think today would be a great day to stay in bed!

I really don't want to go to work today. I want to stay home and be very lazy. i never get to do that... oh well. i also have to take my history of psychology test today and i'm a little nervous about that. i feel prepared but i took a physics test on friday and i felt really prepared and i bombed it. that's whats great about BYU. everyone is smart so they make things really hard. those of us who are more average than smart get stuck with the bad scores.... hince my 55%. oh well. i hope psychology goes better. anyway, i need to be at work in like 35 minutes and i haven't showered yet. see ya!

So I'm sorry I haven't written on here forever. I'm such a hypocrite. I get frustrated when people don't write on theirs like everyday when i read them but i never write on my own.
anyway, i am currently in Provo Utah. School has started and i have some roommates. school is great. i am really enjoying my classes and they make me think. i think they are better then last year. My roommates are good too. Rachel Laulusa is living with me this year and so far it's working out great... except when she wakes me up at 3:30 AM to us my printer... j/k love you rach. then i also now live with Emily Layton from Alpine UT and Raechel Logan from So Cal. They are a lot of fun. we keep it real in 207. :)
anyway, i just wanted to put a little update. i don't have much really that is post worthy.

Just saw The Dark Knight and all i can say is OMG. That was a great movie. and intense. I thought i would fall asleep but amazingly enough i stayed awake. It also helped that Fernando was poking my the whole time going "look at that! look at that! hahaha!" He can get so excited over little things like cars, airplanes, and guns. i love it. it's like a 7 year old on christmas morning.

So today i went to Coco Key water resort, an indoor water resort in Newark. It was with the YSA and it was pretty fun. I really liked going down the slides but for some reason every time i would start to walk up the stairs to them i would get crazy nauseas. I think that's how you spell that. But i have no idea what did that to me but i almost threw up after trying to go 3 times in a row. i walked back down the stairs and hoped i would feel better. I did. it's crazy what my body doesn't want me to do sometimes.

and tomorrow? what's on the docket you ask? why church then work! Inventory my friends. preparation for inventory! ridiculous. oh well. what can you do?

Couldn't You Have Told Us Sunday??

sometimes i hate my job...
Bath and Body Works does floor sets on Sunday nights. I did one this Sunday and didn't get home until 2:00 AM. then i went into my 7 am job. i also worked monday night at bath and body. Tuesday i worked at my dad's from 7-4 again. not bad. Wednesday i was working my normal 9-7 shift at dad's and i was so looking forward to going to bed at a decent time. and on my lunch break, i get a call from my manager at Bath and Body Works. The company sent her and email on MONDAY about the SUNDAY floor set letting us know we weren't supposed to set that....

WHAT THE HECK BATH AND BODY?

so anyway, she needed us to come in and take everything back down and set back up the last month's floor set. tonight... starting at 8. i left early from there and here it is after 1 AM and i'm just getting to bed. so much for an early night. I was supposed to work from 7-7 tomorrow... so much for that. i'm going in at 9:30. I need some sleep or this train is going to derail... i figured i would make some extra money if i went in tonight... but at 7.15 an hour does it really matter?

moral of the story... upper management in the Company of Bath and Body Works can be completely ridiculous sometimes and completely behind causing problems for all of us.

ok, so i decided to try this blog thing again. my last one was kinda hit and miss (more miss than hit) and i decided i wanted a different name for it.
So my sister just moved into our house with her husband while they are waiting on a house. I think this will be fun but still kinda crazy. I've said this before but I know the Williams girls didn't work out so great the first time so i guess we are giving it another whirl.
Right now i'm waiting on my boyfriend to call... He left here a while ago and should be home soon. He is supposed to call and let me know when he is safely in columbus. That is one bad thing. It seems so far away. At least he is here though. until this last month he had been in utah. I've been home since the end of April. only like 3 more weeks of summer. OMG.
Don't get me wrong, I am SO excited to move back out to Provo and go to class again. It just seems like time has been flying. I can't even blink or i miss things. like sometimes i am shocked that fernando and i have been dating for over a year. in one aspect it feels like i've known him forever but in another aspect it feels like i'm still trying to get him to notice me at church. :)
Well, a little update, i work at my dad's dental office and Bath and Body Works. I love to work... j/k. i actually do have a reason for staying REALLY REALLY busy. and here it is!
This is my new baby! it's a 2005 Toyota Corolla and it is in really nice shape. I am in love... plain and simple. :) anway, it's bed time. I'll call Fernando and be gone... thanks for reading. Peace out
